Throughout her career, Xina has worked with traditional and nontraditional partners, such as corporate, nonprofit and governmental agencies, to reach diverse audiences on issues that impact their communities. Xina was a vital part of developing and launching a national public health campaign entitled “A Healthy Baby Begins with You.” Sponsored by Department of Health and Human Services, the initiative was designed to raise awareness about infant mortality in the African-American community. Xina was also instrumental in the launch of campaigns to educate underserved communities on HIV/AIDS, flu vaccinations, and childhood immunization.
